Android 6.0 Marshmallow update schedule for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, J7, Note 4, A7, J5, others
Several reports have claimed that Samsung will seed the Android 6.0 Marshmallow to dozens of its devices, including Galaxy Note 4, Note 5, Galaxy J5, Galaxy J7 and Galaxy A7, but it has released the firmware to only a couple of devices, that too long after many devices from its rival companies received it. The South Korean electronics giant announced last week (Feb. 15) that it had started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA (over-the-air) update to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. It went on to say that the firmware will be seeded to other Galaxy devices soon, but it didn't reveal the update schedule. According to a report by SamMobile , Samsung has started rolling out the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to the Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920C) in Cambodia with build number N920CXXU2BPB6, but it is not confirmed.
