What version of the BlackBerry OS will BlackBerry Classic run?

BlackBerry Classic is planned to run on the latest version of BlackBerry OS 10.3.1.

I placed a pre-order for Classic, when can I expect my device? 

Thank you for your preorder – we’re excited to get the Classic in your hands. Although the exact shipping date has not been released at this time, we expect orders to start shipping in mid December. What carrier networks will the Classic work on in the US? 

BlackBerry Classic supports the following US network bands:
FD-LTE: 1, 2/25, 4, 5, 7, 13, 17
HSPA +: 1, 2, 4, 5/6

Among the major US carriers, this banding is not compatible with CDMA based networks (Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular). NOTE: US Carrier specific devices will be available at a later date.

Although FD-LTE coverage is fairly wide-spread across the US, we recommend checking the coverage map of your service provider to ensure the best possible experience.

BlackBerry Classic supports the following Canadian network bands:
FD-LTE: 1, 2/25, 4, 5, 7, 13, 17
HSPA +: 1, 2, 4, 5/6

Although FD-LTE coverage is fairly wide-spread across Canada, we recommend checking the coverage map of your service provider to ensure the best possible experience.
